Tarea cognoscitiva

 Los estudiantes van a grabar un video presentando su receta en lengua inglesa. Traerán degustación si lo desean y es posible.

Para completar exitosamente esta tarea deben:

1.     Saludar a la audiencia.

2.     Presentarse ellos mismos.

3.     Presentar el nombre del plato.

4.     Mostrar y nombrar cada ingrediente.

5.     Presentar los utensilios de cocina que se necesitan.

6.     Presentar paso a paso el proceso de elaboración. (Usar correctamente el imperativo para dar las instrucciones, usar el presente continuo para describir lo que está haciendo y usar conectores de secuencia)

7.     Despedir a la audiencia.

8.     Hacer tres preguntas a la audiencia. Traer degustación. (opcional) 

Sugerencia: Después de ver el video hacer tres preguntas a sus compañeras de clase y dar degustación a quienes respondan correctamente.

Las ideas no se comprendieron y hubo mucha vacilación. Algunas veces usaron español (más de 3 veces).	Expresaron las ideas aunque algunas no fueron suficientemente claras. Hubo algo de vacilación. Se expresaron en Inglés y pocas veces usaron español (solo 2 veces).	A pesar de errores ocasionales sus ideas se comprendieron. Hubo poca vacilación.  Todo el tiempo se expresaron en Inglés. Muy poco apoyo en el español (solo una vez).	Las ideas fueron claramente expresadas. No se presentó vacilación. Todo el tiempo se expresaron en INGLÉS.

FIRST TASK

Rubric to assess students' recipe video

Situation

Students from 8^th grade are starting to work in the project “Science and Technology in the kitchen” This is an heterogeneous group which level vary from beginner (A1)  to intermediate level (B1). However the majority is placed in A2 accomplishing the expectation from the Ministry of Education. The first topic for the project is “Presenting a recipe”

Task

Students are going to watch two videos related to cooking actions and a recipe. They will reconstruct the recipe and they will write their own recipe working in teams of three.

Production: Students are going to record themselves presenting their recipe. And bring degustation to the class if it is possible.

To complete this task successfully you need to

1.     Greet the audience

2.     Introduce yourselves

3.     Present the name of the dish

4.     Show and name each ingredient including quantities.

5.     Present the kitchen tools you need.

6.     Explain the recipe and show the process.

7.     Say good bye to the audience

8.     Ask three questions to the audience. Bring sample to the class. (optional) 

Suggestion: After watching your video-recording ask some questions to the audience and give degustation students who answer well.
